2018 Gul National Championship - Penzance SC

Gul 2018 Fireball National Championship in Penzance.

Penzance Sailing Club is the proud host of our Gul National Championships in 2018.

Penzance is over a thousand years old and with a population of approx. twenty-one thousand is the leading town of the Lands End Peninsula. Penzance is favoured by very mild climate and is famed for it’s flowers and a profusion of sub-tropical plants and trees.

The event will run from Saturday 21st July through to the Friday 27th July and includes 5 days and 10 races in the beautiful waters of Mounts Bay. The beautiful St. Michaels Mount dominating the view from any angle with large rolling waves, a sheltered bay and good winds.

Penzance Sailing Club last hosted the Nationals in 2012 and from anyone you speak to it was a great event so why not join us again and make this one even better?
