Fireball class at the RYA Dinghy Show 3/4th March
The Dinghy Show marks the start of the 2018 season and we're planning to expand on our traditional presence.
The UKFA stand will be larger than last year's and, as well as the latest Weathermark and Winder boats on display, we hope to have a three minute promotional video running on a continual loop. Our thanks to Lucy Cornes for spending a lot of time putting it together!
Youth Fireball members will be undertaking stints on the RYA 'try trapezing' stand hoping to encourage show goers to include Fireball in their sailing plans.
Andy Robinson will be on the RYA Dinghy Class Association stage at 14.30 on the Saturday. He has a 15 minute slot to talk 'Fireball' and we know he will really engage with the audience. Sadly, there will be no time for a Mr Fireball competition though!
To back up all this activity, we need help on the UKFA stand over the weekend. If you can spend a half day or a couple of hours promoting the Fireball class please contact Dave Hall who is organising the stand. Volunteers are asked to wear Fireball event (or similar) shirts and will have free entry to the show.
