Just one race today in La Rochelle. The race was finally away on the fifth attempt after a short postponement but not before 11 boats had been black flagged on the fourth attempt. The wind was at its peak for the first beat at around 9 knots. DJ Edwards and Simon Potts lead at the windward mark with Martin Peculier and Thomas La Seach chasing hard and finished in that order. Tom Gillard and Francis Rowan worked hard to take third place with Remy Thullier and Loic Berthelot 4th and Kenneth Rumball and David Moran in 5th. Chips Howarth and Vyv Townend climbed to 6th place during the race and maintain their hold on the championship. With an early start tomorrow 3 races could potentially still be sailed.
