27/01/21. This morning we heard from SCYC:
“SCYC has decided that in the current climate it does not think it will be possible to run events for external class associations in 2021. The reasons for this decision are mainly due to the COVID-19 restrictions likely to be imposed in Wales later this year which we expect to be different from those in England. We are likely to be limited to a 30 person waterside involvement ( includes safety cover) and even more restrictive social segregation and under these conditions would not be able to put on a meaningful event. We have committed to running our own club classes in a very restrictive format and will be limiting entry to the Club to members only as we did last year during the summer period. ”
The UKFA committee will be turning our attention to finding an alternative venue and will update you as soon as we can.
