The Fireball class are having a change in tradition this year on stand C22. In the past there have always been brand new boats on show. This year however the class will be showing two boats that took part in last years World Championship sailed out of Pwllheli. On show will be a Winder built boat owned by Dave Winder himself and the Weathermark boat that was sailed into 2nd place by James Peters and Fynn Sterrit. There will also be the World Champion winning boat on the Allen stand and another on the Hyde sails stand.
2016 will be another busy year for the class with a great UK Open meeting circuit. The Europeans are in Italy and the Nationals at Hayling, both events will be a very international affair. Winning the silverware looks very open this year with a variety of teams of all ages and genders once again competing in the fleet.
