Paolo Brescia and Aribert Strobino have one the Italian Fireball Fireball Nationals and 2010 Grand National trophy. In second place were Dani Colapietro and Angelo Tonelli (La Spezia), with the final podium spot for the National Championship going to Maurizio Leone and Luca Campati. In the overall standings of the event, Bracciano Sailing Contest 2010, second were the Swiss team of Cristina Haerdi Landerer paired with her husband Cedric crewing. The event saw 31 Fireballs (29 Italian crew and 2 visitors) the highest for 10 years!.
The Grand National was created in 1999 to give European fireballers another opportunity to meet and compete beside the annual European championship. Every year one national championship of three or more days is designated as the Fireball Grand National.
