"We currently have 6 Fireball entries and I was asked to remind the class that there are no entries on the day, and that by pre entering there is no financial commitment until the day of the regatta. They do not have to pay anything or in reality even turn up if the weather looks indifferent, but it does mean they can sail if they come. The entries overall will be capped at some stage. The overall boat limit for the regatta is 130 boats and 90ish have entered to date. We have our own start on a race course. Fireballs will be based at Castle Cove Sailing Club with the sailing in the bay. Very light or very strong winds may mean a course being set in Portland harbour"
