| Hi, I have a question about Fireball builders, I have a wooden Fireball 12102 and I can't find a builder's plate anywhere on her. She has a plate on the inside of the transom which mentions the licence to Norris Bros. but makes no mention of the actual builder. She's in the boat register here. ![]() Any ideas who might have built her and what number ranges were allocated to which builders? Many thanks! Greg. |

| Looks like a home-built item to me. More pics would help though. | |

| The register you've given a link to says it was built by Dennis Trott. Any reason to doubt that? He built some very competitive boats in the 70s. | |

| Hi Veronica, thanks for that and sorry for not replying sooner, I never got an email to say there was a reply to my forum message... The register says that now because I put it there - after some enquiries with Bob Southworth it appears my boat was built by Dennis Trott in 1979. Trott, so I'm told, built fast boats - and from experience lately, she's a good-un. |
