| Hi, I have a question about Fireball builders, I have a wooden Fireball 12102 and I can't find a builder's plate anywhere on her. She has a plate on the inside of the transom which mentions the licence to Norris Bros. but makes no mention of the actual builder. She's in the boat register here.  Any ideas who might have built her and what number ranges were allocated to which builders? Many thanks! Greg. |

| The register you've given a link to says it was built by Dennis Trott. Any reason to doubt that? He built some very competitive boats in the 70s. | |

| Hi Veronica, thanks for that and sorry for not replying sooner, I never got an email to say there was a reply to my forum message... The register says that now because I put it there - after some enquiries with Bob Southworth it appears my boat was built by Dennis Trott in 1979. Trott, so I'm told, built fast boats - and from experience lately, she's a good-un. |
